What is your planning super power?
Taking complex information and presenting it in a way clients understand and can truly digest, allowing them to feel better prepared/informed as they navigate important planning decisions.
Who is your hero?
Our daughter. Seeing the world through her eyes has reminded me what it is like to live before all the self and societal imposed expectations, limitations, and biases. Before finding out I was going to be a Mom, I wasn’t even sure I wanted children. But “God works in mysterious ways,” and being blessed with our confident, smart, sassy, kind-hearted, and unapologetically true to herself little girl has inspired me and given me the courage to return to my own authenticity.
What is the best piece of advice you ever received?
From my dad before I left for college: “Get comfortable being uncomfortable…accept failure, be grateful for it, learn from it, implement what you have learned, and move the hell on…and most importantly, just be a good human.” I think about this almost daily and it has had application in so many aspects of life.
